Default spring install tomorrow (need some help)

Im installing some H&R springs on my friend car tomorrow. We have everything we need but do we need a torque wrench ??? The last time i did a spring install was in NC so im a little confused on how the springs differ efrom each other which two are the fronts which two are the backs?? And are the tops where its narrower? I know i may sound crazy but I need this.

1) You do not NEED a torque wrench.

2) H&R's have F and R on them, you can guess which go where.

3) Regarding the narrower thing, when you put them on the shock, youll be able to tell which go where.

Best of luck.

Im also installing a new suspension tomorrow. Kyb agx with ground control coilovers. Can anyone give me any heads up? I read somewhere that someone needed to file a 1/4" mark on the agx's so the GC perch can rest on it. Any help would be awesome, Thanks guys. Justin

Actually you DO need a torque wrench. If you are putting your wheels back on and dont want warped rotors, you will need to torque them on.

I would def soak the rear LCA bolts with PB Blaster before you try to take them off.... chances are you are going to break them.

You shouldn't have to worry about soaking those bolts, or having them freeze up on you, because from the looks of your signature you have a 2001. Those things shouldn't be locked up already.

I broke both of my rear LCA bolts when I did my 97.

Good Luck,
JP
