Default Overheating (again)

I just got the 5th gen out of the bodyshop where they put in a new radiator and a few other goodies. I stopped at the ATM on my way home and left the car running to see if it was still over heating. When I got back to the car, not only was it over heating, but it looked like someone poured a quart of coolant underneath my car. I changed the thermostat not too long ago, and i'm sure they bleed the system when they installed the new radiator, so what else could it be? head gasket or water pump maybe?

where about was the coolant

if it was from the driver side then the water pump is toast
if it was from the passenger side then check your heater lines

no its not the headgasket unless your oil turns white

I gotta say that if it overheated when the vehicle was not moving, but it wasnt overheating while you were driving it around that it sounds like you got a cooling fan fault on your hands. Next time, turn the AC on and see if both fans kick in. If they do, see if it overheats then. If the fans dont turn on when you turn the AC on, start checking the relays. If the fans Do turn on, then start checking the coolant sensors.

Check to see if all the harness are connected on the radiator because some body shops do half *** jobs so check all the clips on the radiator to see if they are connected.

Yea you were right. The mechanic said that once the car overheats, it meses up the needle in the thermostat, and it closes shut. Or something of that matter. The good thing is they replaced it for free. Thanks for the help everyone
