Engine Code problems??
Hey
Im gettin codes off my ecu for a fuel system error, and an injection system error
, there was one other code for my vss but thats a different post all together...all together the codes i got were 16, 17, 43...i know the vss is one of them...anyone have any ideas abotu what could be the prob with the other two codes...i swtiched motors from a d15, dpfi, non vtec to a d16z6 vtec, mpfi, and have had no prob for the last couple months then the lights popped on....the motor has about 100, 000 miles on it...what gen probs may have occured to cause these codes...any help is better then none??? thanx

Code 16 - Fuel Injector
Code 16 is probably the Main Relay, however it could still mean a bad Injector, Resistor Box tho.
Most failures occur, when the weather starts heating-up for the summer...
If the car refuses to start, but "turns over" on a hot day, try opening the doors/windows, and let the interior cool down. "Then try starting again". May not work all the time, but worth a try anyway. Also, would help in troubleshooting the prob, if it does start. Another place to look is the ECT sensor, refer to the above
And code 43 is fuel supply system defective or malfunctioning fuel supply system
