I know about the problems with high fuel pressure (up to 90), but I need to know what is the maximum hp my stock injectors will support.

 

@ stock PSI, around 230-240 crank hp

 

with boost and an fmu i have seen around 300whp

 

Wow, 300 whp on 240cc injectors? I know that mine were at 100% duty cycle at 218whp. I tried to add fuel, and there just wasn't any more room.

 

sorry to hijack, but with a 190 fuel pump and 270cc injectors. can i run up to 70psi if i have to?? whats the highest i can do without causing probs. its for 2.0L ls/vtec.

ah camon, thats bullshit.

370cc are maxed out with 300whp

 

not bullshit.i said with an fmu.a 12:1 fmu.

 

more fuel press does not mean more fuel in the combustion camber, thats physic.

on stock ITR engine the 240cc are about 95% dutycycle.

Come on guy,

More pressure = higher flow rate = more fuel in combustion chamber given same pulsewidth

at stock pressure the last car i tuned was running 95% duty at 190whp.

 

What about the 290cc prelude injectors? How much horsepower can they handle, abd how much should I pay for a used set?

 

FWIW I've seen nearly 300whp with an FMU and stock injectors...Is it safe? No. Have I seen it with my own eyes? Yes. Did my car make 282whp with stock injectors and an FMU? Yes.
