i would avoid buying a used set in general. while studs are reusable, they do have a limit and unless the seller is honest they might be worn out. If they are youll have to reinstall the head and thatll cost you more time, hassle and money. Dont cut corners, you'll thank yourself later.

i appreciate the concern, but if i get studs from someone and they look worn out, they will get what is coming to them 
i would prefer new tho ... hence i said new or used
