dry kit is just spraying then itrous in the intake directly (can be injected a the runenrs and stuff too). Wet is when the nitrous is mixed with the fuel and injected. A bottle warmer heats up the nitrous bottle to build mroe pressure, so mroe nitrous is injected into the motor.

yeah UberTeg said it in a nutshell really.

dry is just N2O with the injectors supplying the needed fuel.
wet is almost the same as the dry, cept there is an extra solenoid to provide the needed fuel so the injectors don't have to.
direct port is the same as the wet system, but it injects N2O and fuel into each IM runner instead of into the intake tract.

for optimum N2O performance you need 900-1000 psi from the bottle. less and the mixture will be rich, more and the mixture will be lean.

which is better can always be argued but i think wet is safer personally. your not relying on your injectors to pump out the extra fuel.

I agree..........also by raising the fuel pressure you are cause more work for the injector to do as it opens against the fuel........this taxes the injector coilwinding more than normal.

and thats why N.O.S themselves say the dry setup is the safest....???......i think i would trust them over anyone. Hell they test the damn things night and day 24-7, i think they would know.

dry can be just as safe with proper tuning and getting bigger injectors if needed.

You are probably right and since I dont use it I have no first hand experience. The wet setups just seem cleaner to me......

well i was running a 50-75shot (dry) on my 92 lude and when i tore it down a couple days ago all the internals looked fine. Just have a leakdown test done and if everything passes with flying colors your gonna be ok...just dont go over 75 .

I do have a nitrous kit for sale by the way

Dry is fine for up to a 75 shot. They are much simpler to install also because you don't have to tap into the fuel system. IMO...

As long as ur fuel delivery system can handle the extra duty, there is really no need to get a wet system with a moderate shot.

25-75 shot = dry.
75+ shot = dp

the dry systems do work well if everything is installed and used correctly, but for lower injection amounts like 40-70 shot.

i used the NOS direct port system and it's really not that difficult to install, neither is the wet system. the wet system only needs the fuel line feed and the fuel soleniod, along with the upgraded fuel pump depending on what size injection you're using. it's really not that difficult to install the wet system instead of the dry system. tapping into the fuel system is not that bad. a few more parts and a few more hours to have a system that doesn't rely on the injectors or increased fuel pressures to keep the mixture where it should be. it's worth it IMO.
