new integra owner (possible) basic questions please!!!!
ok guys heres the deal, im tired of my civic getting broken into and all the problems with smogging my motor, so im leaning towrd buying an integra, 94+ ls probably because the prices arnt too bad and going total sleeper but building the crap out of the engine either b18c1 or b18c5 or maybe a ls/vtec with a jackson racing S/C and other bolts ons, but keeping the outside stock.
question 1 how do ls/vtecs act with a super charger?
2. whcih transmission would be best with a JRSC
3. would i need to lower the compression with a JRSC
4.would it benefical to use a electrnic exhaust dump (so it uses the stock exhaust and when i switch it would route the exhaust out before the cat for the horsepower.
any tips and advice would be greatly appricated(ie.. suspension)

Most LS\VTECs N\A crap out around 5-7k miles I hear, so with boost I'd say about 1000 miles or so. If you're going with boost just stick with your LS motor and work onto that.

the best modifications are to the suspension and brakes. Get an Integra type r rear sway bar and it'll make the car handle WAY better. Then, get a standard lowering spring by Eibach, H&R, Neuspeed and pair them up with a good shock like koni yellows, tokiko illuminas, or bilstein. For brakes, I like Hawk HP+ pads, but there are others out there that are good.
As for the tranny, a gsr tranny would be fine, but the best would be a short-geared type r tranny (with the limited slip differential) or a civic si (same gearing as the type r, but without the lsd). I really don't know about the engine stuff...
