JRSC on an LS (b18b1)
I am going to go the supercharger route. I am still researching this, but thought I might find some answers faster here...
I understand that these blowers make about 180ish hp at the wheels on a stock LS. Is this true? If not, what are the real numbers?
What are some modifications I can do to help boost the power? Obviously properly sized headers, and exhaust. I don't feel like spending 700 dollars on head work... Any good cams that would increase the performance?
Since this is a roots style blower, does it whine a fair amount?
Thanks.

You can get smaller pullies some good header and exhaust and since it's an LS it's deffinitley worth to get some head work done. And yes the JRSC will whine pretty good. and if u do go with higher boost like say 12/15 psi then the JRSC will be blowing some HOT air thats when u add water injection or custom fab a intercooler. the Roots blower are efficient between 8/11 psi after that it gets hot.

Right, I forgot about the smaller pullies. So, with a smaller pulley, a good header and exhaust and a little port work... How much should I be pushing? And at that point I would probably upgrade the clutch and put in a b16 tranny.

On a bone stock b18b1 motor? I plan on getting better air to the blower, better flowing headers, good flowing exhaust, and maybe some head work.
