i have a b16 crx and it ran a 14.9@98mph..it has intake,header, exhaust and a meugen computer...i just wanted to know what u guys think should be my next buy so i can hit 13's...discuss

practice, practice, practice. your 1/4 time should have been alot lower than a 14.9 with a 98mph trap speed. you need to work on your 60' times and you will see your 1/4 time go down. it seems that you do really well the last 1/8 mile of the track but poorly in the first 1/8. like i said, work on your 60' and you will have better results.

 

yeah its just that i get no traction i spin all the way to about 2500 in 3rd gear....

why are you only at 2500 in 3rd gear? From 2nd to 3rd with my ls tranny I am a 6k

 

I agree. 3500 - 5000 RPM is the best speed to start out at. It minimizes the chirping or spinning of your wheels.

i was just guessin not really sure the exact rpm i dont really pay attention to it to much...but i do spin all through 3rd geard its rediculous..how can i minimize that?

 

get some lensos w/ hoosies, or at least something in the way of stickier tires.

 

yaaaaahoooooo...about damn time...thanks guys for all ur help i ran a 13.8@102mph..finally...i bought new wider tires..and i stuck like crazy...thanks guys for all the advise..
