Default iVTEC revelation!

I just when to the my local dealer to order some parts for my ITR and I was talking to the mechanic and I was talking about the new RSX and its motor. He said the only thing they did was reverse the motor so it spins in the opesite direction........so, I thought for a hybrid swap one could take that motor and put in that same direction as the B18C's in ours..if this works then we can have the 220 ponies and the iVTEC!

Does this sound like a good idea?

SCC in their RSX "Nerd's-Eye View" said that no parts from the K20 or RSX in general will bolt into any prev. generation cars. So, it looks like our Rs will still be the ones getting cannibalized.

as the k swaps become more popular, the rsx and civic si would become targets by cocksucking thieves. maybe even the tsx and the crv for their blocks.

if you want to protect your R, move to singapore where thieves get their hands cut off for stealing.

and then your car would have 5-6 reverse gears, and one forward gear. ya'll are aware that there are now several b & d-series k-series swap kits right?

yea thats a pretty dumb idea.... they got mounts out now for our cars and if you did flip it backwards like said above you would have 1 foward gear with 6 reverse gears

Singapore has low crime NOT no crime. **** things like vandalism/rape/robbery/thief are still common. But capital crimes like murder, drugs, stolen vehicles are not that common.

However, anybody caught vandalize vehicles are subject to minimum 3 strokes of cane. And the cane is not a joke, one stroke would split your butt into half and bleed. However, the system is not to give you all the stroke at once, they will let you recover from the previous stroke before giving you another. Ask Micheal Fay how did the six strokes of cane feel on his butt. Micheal Fay is the only guy who broke the record for the most number of vehicles vandalized. To give you an idea how much a car cost in Singapore, an Integra Type R DC5 easily cost US$90k.
