Rear Main Seal????
well i got my motor running and noticed oil was leaking from inbetween the flywheel and block... i pulled the motor out and replaced the rear mail seal... put it all back together and started it again.... and oil is still leaking out of there.... what else could it be?

The plate that holds the rear main seal in has to be re-liquid gasketed if you removed it.
The seal also has to be certain distance (w/o my manual...remembering something like .010-.020" )from the plate and not all the way flush. I hope you didnt just beat the thing in till it stopped.
