how far back should it be located from the crotch hole? directly underneath or slightly towards the rear of the car?

Well, that works on the outside, but on the inside the mount is on the seat. You're better off drilling a hole through the exhaust tunnel and bolting it there (with a steel backing plate).

I'm not going to install the 5 point until I get a seat. Right now i need the 4 to hold me in place in my stock seat at Auto X.

I don't think that would be a good place to put the shoulder harnesses.
No one knows the torque specs for the lap bolts?
