94 Si, auto tranny question . . . .
Hi, while most of you I'm sure have manuals, I have a question for anyone who would know regarding the automatic transmission in my 94 lude . . .
ok the problem -
seems like when drivin in the 3rd gear . . . @ around 3500 rpms theres a fine line and the transmission cant seem to make up its mind if it wants to go ahead and jump to fourth and stay in third, if you give it gas it'll go ahead and hit 4rth but its still hittin it way too early and its not catching a new gear at high speeds leavin me with a feeling that theres alot of stress on the engine on top end and also not knowing when it'll finally hit o/d. . . . i heard it could be a band sensor, or the cable could be loose, etc etc . . . dont really know alot about transmission work so any help would be appreciated .. . . . this was the problem in my H23 before the motor went . . . now im expecting my swap to be done l8tr this week sometime . . . and I'd like to care of the problem before the cars comes from the mechanic. . . .
