94 civic trans help
i have a 94 civic 1.5 with auto tranny .. well i was comin from piney flatts to bristol on my way home when it shifted from 1st to 2nd it would jare u a little 2-D D-OD workd fine well i got close to my house at a red lite i wouldnt do anything wouldnt go into any gear... well i pulled over and let it set and put it in drive and it barly moved with it sounding like it was going real fast when it was barly moving then 5 seconds later it wouldnt do anything again any ideas what this could be tranny fluids are good

200,000 miles is a lot of miles for a Honda auto tranny. Generally that's about when you start seeing issues with them. If you know the theory of operation behind an auto tranny you'd understand why they eventually fail. Just from the sounds of it it seems like you burnt out the clutches, but it's hard to say. Seriously though, if you say the fluid is good and the car doesn't move that sounds like BS. If the car doesn't move when you put it in gear or anything the fluid will usually have metal flakes in it or smell burnt.
