Anyone have this on their prelude. If so you have any dyno numbers you can share? And you think it was worth it. I am planing to get it, my motor is totally rebuilt, I dont feel like getting a custom kit because I dont want to look all over the place for different parts and stuff and 4get something. I just want to buy a kit w/ everything ready (I have spent alot on the rebuild already). Thanks guys.

 

with a maxrev kit, your basically building a custom kit. If you don't want to go shop around for miscellaneous parts, get an actual kit (Drag, Revhard, F-max or Greddy)

 

I have it on my prelude and I would say you might as well go custom. If your block is built then you would get better result from a custom set-up. I'm allready saving to change my exhaust manifold and with that change I'll have to modify or buy a new DP. DO a search under my name for thread and you'll find my kit installation thread. I posted a bunch of pictures of the install.

 

Yeah, I prob going to go custom now, but was really leaning toward a kit. In fact I did purchase one the Fmax kit but guy screwed me over and just my money (long story) it was from Schnider Motorsports in Hilliard, Ohio. I only got about 80% of the money back but now my lawyer will be getting the remainder.........Anyways.....I was just trying to see some number with our cars w/ this kit (maxrev) Did you ever dyno yours LJR-LUDE01? Any chance anyone wants to email me a check/part list of EVERYTHING i need to get for a custom kit. I was thinking of trying to get teh Fmax piping from someone and the rest of the parts. no I didn't, I just move to Japan and my car still back home. A friend is building me a block so I can swap it in and raise the boost. I think with my set-up, tune I could probably hit atleast 250 easy.

for the list part this is what you'll need:

exhaust manifold
turbo
downpipe
wastegate
bov
piping
i/c
fuel management unit since you got a built block i would say go with a Hondata or EMS, myself I got an EMS
injectors
depending on the type of injectors you get you might need a resistor box and some clips
intank fuel pump a plus and easy to install
a boost guage
boost controller
some new spark plugs
oil feed/return kit
