Three Unrelated Questions.....
1. My spark plug wires keep poping off after I drive. Can anyone explain this?
2. On the b-series cable tranny, should the rubber peice at the end of the cable be trimmed?
3. I have a problem with Idle. It will sit at 1000 rpm then SLOWLY rise up to about 1400, sit there for about ten seconds then drop back down to 1000 RPM. It does this and it is starting to get annoying. Any ideas?

1) get new plugs. yours, if old, are probably worn out. as long as your are still getting current through to the plugs it would be OK.
2) dont know
3)does it do it once. or does the idle go up and down up and down. do you have any internals, cams?

hmmm about the wires. they should just kinda "pop" on and be snug. perhaps get another set and see if it does the same thing.
and with the idle. i have had that problem. dont know how to fix it. its cuz of my cams tho. tuning will solve that i beleive

They do pop on, my old NGK wires did the same thing and I could not figure it out. I thought one of the boots was causing it so I went ahead and upgraded wires.
I took it to get it tuned and it did not cause that to go away. I jumped from 172 to 186. I think it is tuned fine now.

Try re-setting the idle using the proper steps, 1000 rpm is a little high. If that does not help, try looking for a vacuum leak somewhere in the system...

Mainly on race engines, crankcase pressures can be extrememly high. I've been told that they can sometimes be high enough to rush past seals and dislodge spark plug wires. I've never seen this actually happen myself though.
I think this is a long shot, but check that your PCV system is working correctly.
