Help: Will a non obd d15 work in an obd1 car? *photos attached*
For my engines class at school, my friend and I are putting a new engine into a 94 Civic CX. Our school has a few 16 valve d15s in storage, and we plan on using one as the CX’s new heart. The problem is that the motor we have is a non-obd d15. Although easier, we cannot use the obd1 head off the Civic as that is not an option. As of now, everything on the 8 valve motor seems to be transferring over to the 16 valve.
My friend and I got the obd1 distributor to bolt up the non-obd head (see pic). Will this work?
We plan on using the obd1 intake manifold even the port sizes don’t match (see picture).
The oil pressure sensor and this PVC thang transferred over perfectly (see pic).
The d15 we are using is a 16 valve. Will the ECU, which is intended for an 8 valve motor, work?
I'm basically asking if this would work
Thank in advance.
