nt450's suck ***. don't waste your money.
edit: just read the rest of your posts. you're not going to find a really good performance tire that also lasts a long time. the better performance tires use a soft rubber compound. soft rubber wears faster than hard rubber. i'm runnin kumho ecsta supra 712's and they seem to be a decent compromise of performance and longevity. but other people will have different opinions.

I had NT450's for about 2 years as daily tires...I thought they were good. Auto crossed them a few times and they gripped pretty well Not as good as Azenis, but they're still cheap and last a long time

mine slid and howled everywhere. same turn at same speed with my kumhos, no sliding and no howling. and the corner was just making a left onto another street and i take it at 25 mph. i think everyone gets nittos and thinks that they're great until they get a different set of tires. then you realize just how shitty the shitto's are.

I liked my 450's alot, but everyone is right, the Azenis are better. If you want good tires for cheap, go with the 450's

Nitto has decent dry traction but when it rains you are fucked by a large mountain bear.

Kumho 712 owns the Nitto 450 hands down. The 450s are noisy, and have crappy grip during hard driving. I also had one that was out of round (the rim hole wasn't pefectly centered) and it vibrated like a bitch. I had it balance 3 times and it never stopped vibrating.

The Kumhos are cheaper, too. I auto-x on mine and they aren't bad. As I get better I'll probably step up to the ECSTA MX (or the Azenis, Owen).

i have had my nitto 450 for a lil over a year and i would say they arent horrible tires. for regular spirited around town driving they do the job. that of course is assuming it is butt dry. if its raining...dont do over 20. 2 curbs later i learned my lesson. but readin posts everyone seems to pray that nitto 450s rot in firery flames. so who am i to disagree.

ps my next tires will NOT be 450s not because i think they r bad, but because there are better tires out there for the same price.

I've used these tires for quite some time. They grip well in the dry but don't do so well in the wet. But hey, they are fairly inexpensive and last a long time.

well, I think for a mostly street driven tire that is inexpensive and will last a while, the 450's are just fine. If all you are concerned with is performance (all you guys saying azenis) then they aren't what you are looking for. But I think your first post said you wanted something to last, and the 450's will do that for ya.
Come on guys, read the post before you say "yeah those suck ***! get Azenis!"
Each tire has a targeted purpose, Azenis for great performance, but not so great longevity. 450's work for a street tire that lasts.
Oh yeah, where can you get Kumho's for cheaper than 450's? check out discount tire, 450's are less than Kumhos. And Kumho's are definately not quieter than 450's, sorry.

I've got the Nitto 450's on my Slipstreams and to say they're mediocre is a big stretch. You'd be alot more happy with the Yokohamas. The AVS's might be a good contender for an all around tire as well. Give Tire Rack a call and talk to one of the service reps. They'll put you into a decent tire.

Hmm...I would think the 502s would be a tad under the 450s.

Either way, if you want decent grip and long treadlife, then Bridgestone Potenza RE730 is the way to go. Best 300UTGQ (relative) tire I've driven on.

dry weather traction is decent with the 450's but they suck ***** in the wet. Tread life is way better than the azenis. Alot of people have had good luck with the Kumhos but I personally dont like them. Maybe give the Paradas a try. It's up to you.
