Who runs full boost all the time, none of this 10@ the track and 15+ on the street?
Just wanna get a heads up, I mean if your building your **** to handle it, why not run it all the time and murder people.!
I run 8psi all the time. Haha, when I get the bottom end built (9.0:1 pistons, Crower Rods, sleeves, balanced crank) I will have it tuned to run much more boost. I am hoping to go to about 15psi or so until I get a larger turbo.
i run my full boost all the time , but its not much , same thing with me , when i build it , ill run full boost on the streets i dont care hhaahhaha
I run 15-18 psi on the street daily!! i can only run this because if i go any higher it will detonate!! lol
on this set up it made 343whp on PUMP GAS!!

I run full boost all the time.....it's only .65 bar but it's full boost
...
From what i hear it's pretty much pointless to run full boost on the street (cars that run 20+psi at the track). Traction becomes a big issue since your runing street tires, and fuel cost is pretty high. Seems to be that most say 300whp is about the limit for a street car.

I think you got the thread title backwards, lol.
Anyways. I only run 11-12 on the street right now, just cause i dont have a wideband to tune the ems right now. I will be tuning max psi for the street.....either until i reach 95% duty cycle or i get detonation.
Track will be race gas.

Most people run more boost at the strip because it's pointless for traction reasons on the street, and it's horribly impractical to run race gas all the time.
i just don't see the point in anyone trying to run more then 10lbs on the street, Is anyone really in that much of a hurry. Unless you guys just punch it every chance you get.
For my daily driving in my old car the most boost i would see would be maybe 3 lbs.

I drove my ZC CRX at 12psi with a T-25 for over a year. The motor still has a compression average of 160, and will soon be the recipeint of my new SC32 turbo setup...

Depends on the turbo of course...
12psi from my old T-25 is NOTHING compared to 12psi from my new SC32 T3/TO4E

15-18 psi on a small 16g. Its nice to have a factory turbo ecu.
Anyways, If I had a turbo honda I wouldn't do that without a J&S safegaurd or something to pull save the motor when the driver isn't willing.
