perhaps it was the kind of bulb you were using before n after... if the bulbs you were using were really good and had a good light output, and the new 9005's u stuck in were crappy, perhaps that took away from the distinction... but either way... i don't think it would make as much difference as some make it out to be... but wat do i kno .. i'm still runnin on my ghetto blue tinted 9006 hahahahah...

well, i noticed a very large differnce! id say its about 2 to 3 times brighter!!! but i am taking into consideration that my last bulbs really sucked!! although they had brown plastic base and were probably generic or oem....again, in my experiance, they were at least 2 times brighter....

I noticed a big dif. I used 100 watt bulbs. I also did the conv. on my g/fs accord, The dif was much more noticeable on her car. for 25-30 bucks for both bulbs you cant beat it, its much better than $70 piaas or someother kind of bulbs.

Fully agree. However they don't last as long, at least for me

Very cool upgrade I noticed a big difference. I even compared mine to my friends stock integra (9006 bulbs) and they put out way more light.

Mine did the same thing, I would recommend getting some silicone grease and greasing the o-rings. Mine haven't leaked since

Also I had the OEM bulbs in and I noticed a nice increase in light output.

All 9005 coversion will notice the bulbs burn out faster then normal. This is because the 9005 was never designed to run constantly. But I have noticed that a lot of people seem to say the SS burn out fast. I have CB and I will see how long the last.

Yup, my SS's burned out in 6 and 8 months. I love the output of the light and the color but only lasting 6 months, I can't afford to keep replacing them. I might try the CB's later (I hope they aren't any hint of blue, anybody have pictures?)

Cool, that's what I wanted to hear. I'm staying stock and not wasting any more money on those damn bulbs. Thanks

had cool blues for about a year before one blew out.. then i decided to try the silverstars since i was able to get them for cheap. one blew out in less than 6 months. so i put back the remaining cool blue to replace the burnt silverstar. the cool blue burnt out a few weeks later. i put the stock 9006 back in to replace the burnt cool blue. so now i have 1 stock 9006 and 1 silverstar 9005. the difference is mostly noticable in color. passenger side looks nice and white compared to the yellowish oem bulb. the lighting also looks dull with the oem bulb. as far as output? there's some difference, but not enough to justify replacing these bulbs every 6 months.
