V-AFC Connector for Type-R ECU? Anyone got these?
Does anyone here have a connector so that I can just plug my V-AFC into my 2001 Type-R without having to cut wires, etc? The connector would just go between the ECU and the wireharness and would hook up to the V-AFC.
I need one ASAP, so please if you have available either post pricing information or e-mail me at onyx00@asu.edu

How much would you charge to make it? Not a flame, but we're talking about 100+ wires, all hand crimped and then tested to make sure it's right. The materials aren't cheap either, you have to use a different color wire for every lead and preferably have them matched to the cars original wire colors.
I used to work in a factory that made custom wiring harnesses (we made them for the Camry too), and trust me it's a fair amount of work to make one.

That's what I did, and would do again. You can splice them back together if you need to.
I was more commenting on why it's a $200 part. It probably costs about 150 to make it. We used to make a high speed SCSI cable that was oly 2 feet long and cost $1000! It was hand welded under a microscope and could carry frequencies in excess of a gigahertz.

if you splice into the existing harness, than you can forget about ANY warranty service!!!!! dont let 200$ keep you from getting the harness.
IMHO i dont think it 200$ is worth it. just in case something goes really wrong with your ride. i thought about splicing inot the oem wires too but decided not to.
get it from kenji. here is his email: Kenji211@gte.net
