Default Skunk2 Short Throw Shifter

for 94+ integra, I figure that includes my 01 R, anyone own one of these, is it worth it? overall shorter and better shifting?

You'll need a great shifter to improve on the feel of the stock one. The problem you (and I) are having is due to bad technique and nerves. Go to the root of the problem. Getting an aftermarket short shifter will only make the problem worse and cause you to miss more shifts. Just relax while shifting and don't think as much. These are the things I tell myself after I grind the gears.

You should consider getting a C's Short Stroke Shift.

Yes, it's a lot of money, but the stroke is noticeably shorter AND smoother. No rattles, no grinding.

If I were to get an aftermarket shifter the C's would be the way I'd go. $300 though...ouch!

It's not listed, but I'm sure they can get it for you. Ask for Alan - nice guy.

just stick with a stock shifter.
the only times i have missed a shift is with short shifters.
stock integra 94+ throw length isnt that bad anyway

Two quick questions...

Are the Type R shifter throws the same as a 94+GS-R?

Will either fit into a 00 Si, withour major modifications?

Thanks much
Doug
