painted brake calibers
the calibers of my brakes were already painted when i bought it. . .what should i do to strip off the paint? and what kindve paint would i buy if i wanted to paint it a different color. Thanks
you could use zip strip, and then take laquer thinner and clean it up but don`t get any on the rubber parts, and for the paint i got some VHT from summit 8 bucks haven`t came in yet though so can`t tell how it works yet.

Brake lines.
As for stripping, you could go to Home Depot and buy a can of Jasco paint stripper. Its a goldish can, that **** is strong, spray on and the paint will come off like butter on....i dunno....something thats hot lol

errr anyway i can protect these rubber parts and does anyone have a picture where they can point out the dust boots, it would be really helpful to me
Yeah, it would be easier to paint over it then to strip it and ruin all your seals. there is special brake caliper paint that is resistive to high temps and sticks AWESOME. Its brake caliper paint, get it at pep boys, VIP, etc.
ruin all my seals? help help what do you mean? i might just sand it off, i have all weekend anyway. . .will any kind of high temp paint work?
