Alright, with a rapid increase in altitude, will the o2 sensor on a gsr freak out and cause a check engine light? When I was going up the local mountain (~5500 ft to ~10500 feet), I was bookin it and then, all of a sudden, it felt like was bouncing off of the rev limiter, but I was at 6000 rpm in 2nd. I pulled over, turned the car off, waited a few seconds and started it up and the check engine light was off and I could rev to redline (in gear) without a problem.
u should run the code still to find out the chech engine light what was wrong. also just because the light came off doesnt mean its still not programed in ur ecu? run the code and make sure everything is still fine.
