diff between integra clusters...help!
i swapped a 99 gsr dash into my 93 civic hatchback. i also used the teg dash harness. anyhow, i didn't have money to buy the cluster so i spliced in my old civic cluster and it was fine...now that i bought a teg cluster and wired it up, it is acting funny. i bought a 99 gsr cluster but things are going all screwy
1) high beams don't stay on unless the car is off
2) when i start the car, the arrows for turnsignals are lit (dimly)
3) turn signals don't work
4) when i turn on high beams (when car is on) the turn signal arrows light up instead of the blue high beam indicator
5) when i put on the hazards, they alternate between the high beam indicator and the turn signal arrows. also, the rpm drops to zero everytime the turn signal arrows light up.
my question is, the civic cluster worked fine, is the reason because i used a newer cluster that these things are happening? if i get a old teg cluster will it work fine again? is it because of the OBD difference? help!!! thanks.

Yes the clusters are different.
94-97 Integra clusters use a different system than the 98-01 Integras.
Looks like you'll need to trade in your 99 cluster for a 94-97 cluster to use in your Civic.

ok good, at least i have conformation. now i gotta try find someone to swap. anyone need a 99 gsr cluster w/49k miles? its mint condition!!! argh
thats something i learn on ebay, whenever a seller sells those typeR cluster, they always state 94-97 teg only 98+ may require modifications. then there some typeR cluster that only states, 98+ only. so watch out on what you buy, ebay should have plenty of clusters
