what's needed to run hondata in a d16y7?
I have a buddy who just bought an apex kit for his 00 hatch, and I'm wondering what he needs to run hondata...p28? OBDII-OBDI conversion harness? bigger injectors? thanks fellas.
Go for:
DSM 450 injectors and resistors/resistor box or any other 440-450cc injectors
OBD2-1 harness
PR4, P75, basically any non-vtec obd1 ecu will work
And of course, my HONDATA S200B, going for $415 SHIPPED!

He needs an OBD2b->OBD1 conversion harness, a chipped ECU (there are several he can use, P28 will be the cheapest) and the hondata unit. That's all he needs to run it.....to make it worthwhile he'll need bigger injectors and tuning....if he's planning on draggin it a lot get the 2-step...

only if he gets peak and hold injectors. He can use a vtec ecu...does not matter, you just don't write the vtec maps.
I'd get some rc 440cc, walbro 255 lph low pressure, chipped p28 w/ obd1 clip on it, and s200 w/ boost.
