Hesitating??
Just wondering if anyones bike stumbles or hesitates down low from about 1-3k rpm. I bought my 91 CBR with a dyno done at 86 RWHP, but i never got to run it for real till I took it outta storage 3 months later and fouled all the plugs.
I changed them quickly but noticed that the bike stumbles from 1-3k... not sure if one of the plugs got fouled cuz I put them in right after i took out the old ones which were soaked with gas. The bike is jetted, im not sure if its b/c of that or the plugs. Other than that the bike runs great, I hang with my friends F4i without a problem. The situation reminds me of my teg, same thing happened when I put in Bosch plugs. Any help is appreciated,
thanks

I put the ones that are supposed to go in there, NGK R. The tegs got the OEM NGK ones.
Anywayz i konw its not the wrong plugs but I just want to know if its b/c the carbs are jetted. The shop that did it and bought the bike from are very reputable. I konw its done right. Not sure if i did it, or its supposed to be like that.

Under what conditions does it hesitate between 1K and 3K rpm? Is this under load, or free-revving? If it's free-revving, it's quite possible that the pilot jets in the carbs need cleaning (storage can do this). Otherwise, you could possibly just be lugging the motor...most 600cc inline-4 bike motors are happier a bit higher up in the rev range.
A full tank helps reduce the chance of rust formation. Stabilizer is nice. My float bowls always empty themselves when some kid jumps around on the bike while on stands and tips it over. Damn neighborhood kids

Only when its under load, thats what i was thinking but im still not sure.

Do not store your bike with fuel in the carbs. Shut off the gas and drive around the block until you run out. If possible don't store with fuel in the tank either, if you must add stabilizer.
Or you can avoid most of this by purchasing a bike with fuel injection.

Thanks for the advice, but its a little to late for that... oh and it would be nice to have fuel injection, i fvckin hate carbs.
