I just finished preparing the internals of my 1st gen B16a/CRX engine and need to decide how to force feed it. My car is a daily driver with weekend strip use. I currently getting 162whp NA.
I have an offer to buy a used JRSC for 1600.00.
I also have everything I need to go turbo except for the turbine which Turbonetics says should be a T3/T4e 46 Stage II with .63 housing.
I like the idea of being able to lower the boost electronically during my daily use (I think my Tial spring is 6 lbs min) and up it at the track. The supercharger on the other hand is always 'on' an I understand can boost up to 10 lbs without changing the crank pulley.
What do you guys recommend?

if you are already making 162 whp NA in a b16 then i would guess your compression ratio was raised. GIve some more info on how much internal work was done to the motor.
TURBO OWNZ YOU!
TURBO OWNZ YOU!
I would go turbo nobody can prove to me on a four banger the difference in power if someone gave me a supercharger I would trash it unlees you got some major displacement like v8's stangs they slap one on and they are in the 11's that is a 5.0 of ocurse anyways you want to go turbo but you raised your compression by a 1/10 stock on the jdm is 10.4:1 so you are aiight there but thoose cams are way to big for a turbo the lift on them is way too high you would loose power you need the stock b16 cams or gsr cams and you could get your self a decent gasket some arp headstuds and you could boost 9 to 10 safely no more than 10 though you might be in some trouble. make sure your fuel management is right that is important dont go cheap like a lot of people do
good luck and boost that 1.6
