Somebody explain to me about coilovers that are height and shock lengh adjustable *Please*
Well I posted a tread up the other day asking about my suspention set up and I was told that the TEIN FLEX were not much different that my Proggress comps. Well I went a checked the spring rates and the FLEX to me is allittle more aggressive the the TEIN SS's but not by much and comes wiht PILLOW Ball mounts. Then I read it is has a adjustable right hight shock obsorber that is different then say a normal coilover where the travel is shortend by dropping the spring lower on the shaft. But I am led to believe that these coilovers are ride height adjustable but the shock itself is lowered and not the spring there for alowing the same amount of travel but at a lower stance.
IM realy confused adn Have FLEX on order but if there goign to be all fugly I might as well get the RA's. SOmebody please break it down for me so I dont feel like such a moron.
thanks

rule of thumb, lower coil threads to midway of the length the shaft extends fully .,,
