Guess I'd pick engine first, since acceleration is my friend.
Next would be brakes, since obsticles hit are not my friend.
Third would be suspension, since obsticles avoided are my friends.
Fourth would be sound and comfort, while I spend time with my friends.
Last would be eye candy.

2.) enough tq to pull out of a corner
3.) late braking
4.) top end 4th gear pull for those happy ETs
5.) keeping things affordable/reliable at the edge

Im saying suspension and brakes first. Who likes going too fast and not being able to stop or control the car??

 

When I first started all I cared about was straight line acceleration

but now I am much more concerned about braking/handling

I have drag raced tons of times, but even the most exciting drag race is half as fun as my worst autoX. I can only imagine what road racing is like

so

1. Handling
2. Brakes
3. Apperance (I like to admire my car as I enter and exit it)
4. Acceleration
