Default b20a bolt on?

Will a b20a (from old skool preludes) bolt into my teg? Plz dont try to school me on r/s ratios, just stay on topic. Thx I mainly want to know if my teg tranny will bolt up, and whether i can bolt my teggy head (non-vtec) on the b20a block.

B20a's are cheap as hell and u see them in all the junk yards... let us know what happens!

Think u can use the crank from the B20a in a B18a/b or B20b/z to stroke them? think it would work?? that would be bad @$$

i really don't see the point in putting an LS head on a B20 block jsut for a little extra torque. It's not worth it. If you're gonna drop in a B20 block in your Teg, then swap on a VTEC head and jsut go B20 VTEC. It's an expensive swap but well worth it. Either that or jsut put on a Turbo to your LS motor. It's not worth the time and $$ to put an LS head on a B20 block for a little extra torque. NAd yes you can use your Teg tranny. All teg's ('90 and up) have B series motors and B series motors can bolt to any B series tranny.

Good Luck!!

Ya I believe the older B20A is actually more along the lines of the A20 or whatever from the 87-89 Accords or whatever. I am almost sure that it will not go in.

i believe the B20A is the one with a 95mm crank that fits the newer B-series motors.. You can make any B-series 2.0 litters with a 82mm bore!

That motor will go in your teg. The only prob is that, that is a single overhead cam motor. So if your thinking about putting your LS head on that block you can forget it. I never heard of a DOHC head on a SOHC block.
