Default '90-'93 Teggy engine swaps?

What are the options for engine swaps when it comes to a gen2 integra?

What's the stock engine code for a non-gsr gen2?

Is swapping a gsr engine into gen 2 hard?

Your options are these engines, they all will bolt right up to your car, except h22

B16A
B18c1 (GSR)
B18c5 (Type R)
LS/vtec (homemade )
H22 (prelude)

Stock engine code for ls is b18b

well i started with an 92 ls ,i then did a ls/vtec,then i swapped in a semi built ls,then i went with a b16,and now i just did a gsr swap.all of witch were all easy
it just gets down to wireing and tuning, whitch is where i had a few minor problems.

first: You guys r0xx0r for answering my Q's.

second: There's is only ONE dyno in my area, and they charge $130 for 3 runs. I can't afford to spend that kind of money on tuning. Is there a way to get the engine running good without dyno tuning?

third: What's involved when you do a GSR swap? What would I need other than the engine? ECU, tranny?

four: Does the stock b18a(or b, whatever the stock teg engine is) have Vtec?

JDM GSR is a nice way to go. The swaps come complete most of the time... the VTEC wiring harnesses sometimes need peices but for the most part are complete
with axles, tranny, ecu and motor. the only thing is sometimes JDM motors are corroded on the outside since the salty air tends to rot the aluminum a bit. its minor cosmetic stuff. alot of times, the ignitors in the distributors go from sitting out. you should drain the motors open the valve cover, flip it open the bottom windage tray and look around for debris in the pickup. if it were me, I might have the thing broken down and refreshed while it was outside the car. but thats me.
