Default Engine Type

Hello im new to the import world, I own a 1991 Integra LS 2dr HB.
I was wondering what engine is in my car; I cannot find it anywhere. (B17A) or (B18)

My Acura is not a Vtec, also I have some information off the inside of the hood

MHN 1.8N5FWFA

So I know its a 1.8L and non-Vtech.

Thanks

you would have a b18a. b17 is a 1.7L vtec engine only in the 92-93 gsr.

BTW, the engine code is stamped about midway down the engine to the left of the exhaust manifold.

B18A1
B18B1
B18C1
B18C5

All of the above are found in US cars.....thus, you need to be more specific then B18, even though the B18A1 was the only B18 offered in that year, he probably does not know that due to the fact that he is asking what motor he has.
