Dr. Beaverun, or: How i learned to stop worrying and love the Expo!
Well, finally got my pix scanned and uploaded to S&M, so we'll get to those in a moment. First off, just a few thoughts, I'll go off on a longer diatribe for the website when i get a chance, and I gotta start workin on some articles for GRM and hopefully we can get SCC and possibly others to give us some press:
1. Expo 3 was an amazing event, and it was all thanks to the people who worked their little tails off to bring everything together. They know who they are, we know who they are, it's all good...I think that Expo 3 was probably the smoothest track event I've ever been to, even with all the crazy stuff going on. You have my heartfelt thanks,
for an absolutely amazing job.
2. Type R owners, and all expo attendees, were great people to be around. I'm more proud now to drive an R than ever before, and it's only partly becuase of the car.
3. Expo Sponsors Rock the party. I
my Toda Flywheel
...okay, a few of the choice pix, the rest can be found at http://www.sandmracing.com (under click on news & info, you'll find the link at the top of the list)
D and Jamie can't make a pizza to save their lives
Why roll an R, when you can...
Warren's only faster than that black R becuase of his carbon-green hood
Windy anyone?
You look a bit tired
Holy crap it's me!
Hrm, maybe this is why my car was bouncing on right handers on day 2...could it be the totally blowed the hell up damper?
Lots more pix on the site. Gina, feel free to use these! I'll have videos up soonish, it's not easying finding time for work, keeping up with honda-tech, keeping S&M up to date, and writing some articles

Nice pix.
Sorry to hear about your suspension.
We probably crossed paths several times but we never met.
If you saw a nasty looking red 99 hatchback... that was mine.

Nice pics. I like the title too, although I'm pretty sure less than 1% of the H-T population is going to get it.

That is one of my brandy-new shocktek built bilsteins on ground-control sleeves with eibach springs. The left rear (600 lb/in spring) i think has actually been wonky since i installed it (this may be partly due to me not tightening the top nut down properly for a day or two, but most people say that's not it), but it definately died thorougly sunday morning. I'm going to start a new thread about this, apparently shocktek rods are faulty rods (though this is probably an unrelated fluke)...whatever the case, you wanna play with the cool toys, you gotta pay the price. There's a great deal more info on my page about the shocks.
My car = bouncy bouncy right now, the rears will be off soon, gonna get them rebuilt by moriss dampers, probably with the stock non-adjustable rods in the rear for money reasons right now.
