Default Taking the D16a6 to 9k?

Well, ive caught the high rev bug after being in an s2000, tapping out at around 9K rpm. Well, what would it take to get my d16a6 to do this in my 89 crx si. I figured new valve springs, retainers, and go ahead and get new valves. Also a good port and polish to the head and around the intake manifold ports. I would probally also rebuild the bottom end with some forged internals. Would i be better off just geting a b16a1 and messing with that. I just want to know how to get an engine to scream that loud.

And of course i would have to have the rev limiter increased on the ecu.

i know http://www.webcamshaft.com makes a valvetrain package for the a6...call and get their opinion.

and if im not mistaken http://www.exospeed.com may also have a valvetrain pkg too.

9k seems a little high...without vtec your gonna have no bottom end if you can make power to 9k. 8k seems more of a realistic figure...even though 9k is possible im sure.
