Default Installed V-AFC need help on a few things..

Well, i just got my new toy and i let rickys2000si install it since i didnt wanna see him home depressed cuz of his car so i fed him a new toy to play with.. after installing it on my car it turns on and v-vtec does work and we kinda have an idea how to mess with it.. but its not saving our settings when i turn off the car.. are they all like this?

im running the stock engine with just this v-afc we didnt really mess with fuel stuff just to test it and then set it back to default 0 but it still wont save the v-tec activation points..

thanks
this is in a 1991 crx si with a D16Z6 still at obd0 using the v-afc instructions by mechanic_b for pm6 ecu.
can we say RIGGGED!!!

you need to double check the wiring b/c I used the same instructions when I wired my PG7 and its never had a problem. Not sure if the v-afc has the memory or if it one of the wires is the constant + but its one of the 2. I've never had a problem so I never trouble shot it. You didn't do the initalize opition because that is a reset. Accually now that I think about it, I bought the V-AFC used and it still had the other persons setting in it, so the V-AFC must remember like a battery back up or something

could it be i have a faulty unit?
i think my friend hooked up the ground wire up differently were gonna check it today. but every sensor works.. v-tec works.. the fuel settings work but it just will not keep memory of anything once the car turns off... its weird.

grounds being different may cause a problem. I know the instructions state to wire them in order no other way, could be causing feed back...I/M doesn't work at hell RPM is 4500 usually

I installed the unit and i think its possible i might have ran the actual black wire closer to the ecu then the brown wire. im actually pretty sure i did. however would that cause it to not remember the settings...

Quick question, which one is the one that has the constant power supply? Is it the red or orange and why have two wires going to the same location.. makes no sense to me honestly..

They also had pinouts for a b15 on a pm6 however thats not listed on the helms... I had to figure out it was the dist neg for hte tach rpm blahzy and follow it onto the inside of the car and wire it up...

something gotta be wrong and i dont think its the unit at all...
