Default Weight reduction

I know type R guys are hardcore about weight so i posted here for your help. I want to get my integra down to 94 Integra LS 2300 lbs. if possible. The following is what i have done so far:
remove ac
remove ps
remove cruise
remove antenna motor
remove windsheild wiper resevor and tubes
remove rear wiper
remove spare tire
remove tools
removed rear carpet in trunk
remove rear panel to tailights
remove rear tar
remove front tow hooks
remove all exhaust heat shields
remove whole exhuast system (open dp, not loud)
remove all four brake heat sheilds
remove front tranny and AC mounts (i have hasports replacements, these dont do ****)

few more things, but i dont remember. any more suggestions? some free weight reduction if poosible. what do you think im weighing in at right now?

things that may have added weight would be my turbo kit (rev hard 2c), i have full type R interior, dont know if thats any lighter or heavier... next i think im gonna do a RS brake line conversion and a CF hood.

Does anyone actually have FAL windows on their ITR. How well do they fit?

All the front tar/sound deadening,
and front firewall sound deadening,
all interior plastic,
center consoles, radio,
all seatbelts and mounts (the reels are heavy)
rear wing,
rear wiper (obviously)

and go on a strict diet...

light weight wheels are also key.

Good luck,

A.

All of the above stuff should have shed 280 - 300lbs. Then, if you are adding a roll cage, window net and harness add back 100 - 120lbs.

start digging under the dash for things to pull out

if you wanted to go really crazy you could cut out the splash reducer inside the gas tank

-Airbags
-there's steel plate below the theering column, I removed it.
-carpet
-replace both front seats with lightweight ones.
-front/rear bumper reinforcements

1GreyTeg is right, light weight wheels are the key.

Take everything out and get the chassis acid dipped to remove all the tar. Spray some rust proofing paint on the shell. You may opt to seam weld the factory welds to increase rigidity if you'd like. Cut all the floor panels off and get some thin sheet metal to replace them. Replace your dash with an aluminum dash and door panels with aluminum sheets. Get Fiber Glass Doors, Fiber Glass Rear Hatch, Lexan Rear Glass, Fiber glass bumper, Carbon Fiber Hood, remove AC, Power Steering and I GUARANTEE YOU'LL be down to 2300LBs if not lighter.

BTW, I'm getting a 94 LS 3DR also and guess what I'm doing with it.

Do what Len said and you'll be WAY under 2,300. I'm at 2,350 with an empty tank and I still have a/c door, panels, center console, and a 45 lb roll bar!

Blake (pphcitr) has FAL hatch window and they fit surprisingly well from what I saw.

Put your rotor heat shields back on unless you want them to warp. When water hits hot brake pads the composition will change.

Oh yeah, assuming you have aftermarket wheels like 16s or 17s, you can save weight with race wheels like Rotas. Rotational weight saves three times the resistance of static weight.

bs on this one. i havent had those shields for 3 years, and lots of my friends dont have them either, my rotors aren't warped, and my brake pads are fine.
