crx b18c1 swap wont start no spark
I just finished my B18C1 OBD2 swap into my 1988 crx si
I am not getting any spark
I am useing a OBD0 TO OBD1 harness from blown hatch for the ecu
I rewired my Dizzy like this... from the engine harness
Non-OBD sensor (EF)-> (EF)Non-OBD pin ->(EF) Non-OBD Wire color ->OBDII sensor ->OBDII pin ->OBDII Wire color
CYP G c2 blue/yel CYP M c14 white
CYP P c1 blue/grn CYP P c4 orn
CNK G b12 white(small) CKP M c12 blue/yel
CNK P b10 orn CKP P c2 blue/grn
TDC G c4 wh/blue TDC M c13 wh/blue
TDC P c3 orn/blue TDC P c3 orn/blue
non-OBD Blue goes to OBDIIblue (tach)
non-OBD Black/yellow goes to OBDII black/yellow
non-OBD (large) white goes to OBDII yellow/grn
and no spark so did I wire something wrong?
I am useing an OBD2 dizzy
I am getting power to the coil but no spark at all
can someone point me in the right direction?
thanks

I wired my civic to OBD1 using an OBD2 distributor.
All of the dizzy wire colors matched up except the two OBD0 white wires. I guessed on those two and must have got it right.
It appears that you maybe haven't matched up your ORANGE wire. Not sure though.

I know where the grounds are I hooked them up
and I dont need to wire up my map sensor, I just used the one on the firewall and hooked it to vacume.
I have power to the coil but no pulse?
but I am getting an injector pulse.

I had a similar problem...... There is a third, most important ground, however. It bolts on to your thermostat housing.... IT is a key ground, because it grounds out like everything, motor, ecu... There are about 5-6 wires in that part of the harness...CHECK THAT. It is very easy to miss.

i'm glad i wasn't the only one who **** his pants when the new engine wouldn't start. yes, the ecu ground is very important. is your fuel pump coming on for a sec when you click the key on? if it isnt, then your ecu isn't getting power/ground. don't just narrow it down to the dizzy, assumption could be your problem here.

I am getting fuel and Ii do have power to the coil, but still no spark. I am going to try a new igniter tonight, a wire was hooked up wrong on the igniter when I took it apart, so I am hopeing that killed the igniter.
also i do have all the ecu grounds taken care of.
thanks
