broken oil pressure sending unit??

Default broken oil pressure sending unit??

i took off the oil pressure sending unit to hook up an oil pressure gauge and the little tip on the end broke off...can i get by with out this till i get a new one in a few days...or is this gonna mess up anything in the ecu?? please let me know

it only controls the light on the cluster and if you are going to have a pressure
gauge then you dont even need it

bitchin...i wasnt sure if it just connected to the dash or if it ran to the ecu also...but if its just for the warnin light then ill be fine with just the gauge for a bit....thanks

Does the sender for your gauge already have a terminal for the idiot light? Some of them do - check it out. If so, just use that.
