EAVC cleaning question
Would you guys recommend using carb cleaner to clean an EAVC? To be sure, the EAVC is the think on the back of the intake mani with two coolant lines in it correct? When I was replacing mine I accidently pushed in the lil mesh screen, would that affect anything? When I take it off, should I spray inside both holes in the EAVC and/or the intake mani? The reason Im doing this is my idle is really high (2k) untill the car warms up, thought maybe this would be the first thing to check.

its the EACV, not the EAVC (electronic air control valve). I cleaned mine with carb spray, and its fine. I also took off the IM and totally cleaned it too. nice little power jump there.
