Default for does with intakes

well 99% of us have intakes here so yea, got a question when you hose off your engine for clean what do u do to ur intake so it doesnt suck in water once u start the motor u put a bag over it ? or what ?

yes. i put a plastic grocery bag from safeway or food 4 less over it. i tie it around the filter. i also cover the dizzy.

Just take the whole intake off, and then tape your TB shut.

i think every one that owns a car has an intake or else there car would not be able to run

hmm i have an injen polished pipe and its not so polished no that i pressure washed everything i should have taken it off

You don't have to take it off. Just tape a plastic bag around your filter, as well as your distributor, battery, and fusebox.

no i did use a plastic bag i sprayed purple power on all the oil from previous owner and used a low power pressure washer and now my injem polished pipe doesn't look polished it looks like the clear coat all washed off or something and i tried using a metal polish but it failed

Spray that bitch flat black. Or get some 800 grit and work your way up, then use the metal polish.
