Default Making own valve adjustment tool.... will this work? *pic*

Would this work if i got a regular 10MM deep socket wrench, and just welded a pipe or wrench to the top of it so the top was still open for the screw driver? Would a deepsocket go down far enough on the nut?

might be easier with an angled handle.

Take a 10mm box end wrench, use a torch and bend the end of it 90 degrees.

no, the socket part should be almost twice as long as the deep socket is.
I had a guy at work weld me up one of these and it is okay but I wish the deep socket part was 2 inches longer!

also you can just use a box end wrench and heat it up then bend it, like http://www.c-speedracing.com has in their pics

That would be one hell of a DIY. I think I would invest the money into the real tool. But thats just me.

I don't know see what the big deal with the DIY valve adjustment tool is. Sounds like too much of a pain when I got mine for $25 at Harbor Freight, and even comes with 3 other sizes you can Ebay off.

Ok, how about a 10mm deep socket and a pair of vise grips. I know, pretty simplistic, but I bought so many specialty tools for my dodge pickup and I could duplicate most of them and save $$.
