Winshield Wiper Question
The paint is chipping off my windshield wiper arms and I was wondering how do I take them off to paint them again? Also what kind of pain should I use? I had someone paint them for me about 6 months ago and now its just happening again. What kind of paint would last longer?
first remove the whole wiper arm, if memory serves me correctly it is a 12mm. then remove the wiper blade, and you are almost ready to paint. first sand down the wiper arm and clean thoroughly. i recommend using the DupliColor enamel paint to paint them with. hth and good luck
I used Krylon, and haven't had a problem yet. I'd recommend that you prime and sand them though, because you can see the indentations where the paint was chipping.
