I bought a td05 18g with less than 1000 miles on it and a friend of mines check the turbine and it move back and forth just a little, barely noticeble. Will it be alright? It does spin freely though but he said that it might not last long. But he is still in school to become a tech, So is he telling the truth? If he is, how do I get it fixed and will it be better if I just upgraded it to a 20g? Any help will be very appreciated

a little is ok. What you DONT want is side to side movement....

You mean as long as it doesn't move more than a mm right? It barely moves though and doesn't push in and out so I assume it's okay.

 

I had a little bit of shaft play on mine. After it was installed and full of oil the shaft play went completly away.
