Ok guys, here it is.. the moment of truth is about an hour away. All I need to know is where the knock sensor specifically is on the b16aSiR1, and what the firing order is on the b16a(obd0), like which spark plug sparks first? I'm pretty sure that the #1 cylinder is the one farthest away from the distributor, but i'm not sure. All I have to do is pop in my dizzy and plug the knock sensor, but i'm having trouble finding the plug for it. HELP! I wanna drive, guys!

Knock sensor is the highest sensor on the back of the block, right below the intake mani.

 

and as far as the firing order(which plug sparks first)and which cylinder is number one?

the spark plug next to cam fires first, in the pic theres #'s on dizzy and cylinders...
I believe firing order is 1324, is that correct

Which one is next to the cam, there all by the cam ? Did you mean the cam gear ? And I don't understand whats wrong ? The picture shows you what order there in.

is the knock sensor closer to the pulley side of the motor or the tranny side?

 

still cant find the knock sensor. can you guys be real specific with me?

 

is the knock sensor just a little metal stub that comes out of the block, or is it an actual plastic fitting piece to plug the plug in? and do i even need to wire for the knock sensor on a b16a in a 90 crx?

 

ok so the knock sensor will be here :

Look directly at the back of the motor, do you see your intake manifold, yes? good. ok then look at the left msot portion of it and slowly bring your eyes down to a green plug right below it thats the knock sensor. oh i know....heres a pic on this page, go down to about 1/4 of the way down. click on the word knock sensor to see the pic.

The firing order is 1342. #1 cylendar is furthest from the distributor.

 

ok, what would the consequences be of not grounding the thermostat? Would the car not start? would the thermostat be no good?
