Default Wiring a b16a1 ecu with a 91 Si complete harness with added vtec, knock, etc sensors.

So Ive got the complete harness with added sensors and vtec solenoid.

My question is, at the ecu......am i going to be pulling and crimping all the wires, or just a few? Can I basically unplug the clips from the Si ecu and just plug it into my PW0? I have ecu pinouts, im just kinda confused on the procedure and don't want to make any extra work for myself then necessary.

all you will have to do is add the wires the the ecu plugs, crimp em and go, I think it goes knock sensor b19, vtec sol. a5 wait its been months since I did it. But yeah just plug them into the existing harness and plug into your pw0

I just did it tonight, it's A8, B19, B5 and C8. One thing to note is that B19 and B5 will have wires in them already, you have to remove them and just tape them off. You're going to need to get some ECU pins from the junkyard if you dont have them. There is some really good site for wiring it up that is posted all the time that will tell you everything you need to know.

Ok so let me get this straight. I take the two plugs out of my old Si ecu, and put them straight back into the pw0 ecu, adding and subtracting the neccesary wires? I figured that but wasnt sure if their was technicality I was overlooking, thanks.

Also anyone got that site handy?

Iam putting a b16a with S1 tranny, into my 89 crx DX, i have the stock Dx harness the stock b16a harness and a crx Si hraness. Which on e will be the easiest to use for rewiring? Does any one know if a Stock SI crx harness will plug into and work on a DX model? What sites have the best rewiring info?

"Just checking in", you are not doing anything to the ECU. All the pin removal stuff is done on the interior harness where it plugs into the ecu.

No you cannot use the mpfi harness(es). Modify the stock dpfi one to work, just dont use shitty eletrical tape, and make clean connections, also make sure there is a connector at the firewall, itll make pulling the engine much easier later on.

Are there any changes other than removing b9 and b11 for an CRX HF. I have a PR3 ecu. There are empty spots on the picture and when i compare to my ecu there are wires in the empty spots. The 4 added wires are done correctly. When i reverse my dash resets as if the ecu is too. Then when I put the car into 1st gear, and give it gas it doesn't move for like 20 seconds. I have a code 6, I'm changing the sensor today so i think that will help the hesitation problem. And lastly does anyone have a HF - B16A wiring diagram.
