Default Whats this thing on the transmission?



i dunno what transmission is in the picture but its on my jdm b16 tranny and when I pulled the motor out of the car it wasnt hooked up to anything but had 2 cut hoses coming from it. Cany anyone help me out?

I think Tegs have speed sensitive power steering,( at least that is what I have been told??? ). That looks like the part thats not hooked up on my LS tranny.

Shouldn't hurt anything, my car runs fine.

Just use that hose to plug them 2 holes, it was used for power steering in Japan, something we don't have for our EF's....

yeah tegs and B16s had power stearing. Just loop the hoses together and you'll be fine. Also thats where your speedo cable in the middle but guess you knew that

the black cap is just a cap, it's the vent. Guess you never taken one apart.

manual trannies dont have oil coolers though, thats only for automatics.
