What do you guys think? me and my friend were thinking about building me an exhaust. Using 2 90 degree Mandrel Bend and then 2 Mandrel U bends. And getting some pipe from an exhaust shop. Using like a nice straight through muffler and a universal Greddy knock off tip and a nice 1" resonator. and 2.25"

What do you guys think? isn't this how basically exaushts are made? basically?

 

1" resonator!!!

That will restrict the hell out of your flow and you'll waste all of your money.

 

Might as well go 2.5".

 

what kind of muffler are you planning on using?

 

not 1" i meant 1'. I dont know what kind of muffler yet. Probably a Edelbrock or some kinda straight through ES or some kind

As long as you use minimal bends, proper joints, and quality components (i.e. muffler, resonator, etc.), it should perform very well.

 

Custom exhaust is by far the best exhaust you can get for your money. install flangs if you ever plan on going turbo or changeing up the header, don't just weld it on.
