where is the k20 stamp?
I was looking inside the engine bay of an rsx-s and I cant find where they stamp the "k20a2". I know it should be in a different location than the b series but where would one find it?

Is that not the backside of the engine?
if they stamp them the same way they did the older B,H,D,F-series' engines than it would be on the back, because they alwasy stamped the engines on the front left a little below the valve cover. Someone definately knows exactly where, if that picture was panned out a little than this question would not be asked.

Don't you know the K-series has been flipped and reversed? heheh. The way you can identify the intake side (front) is by looking at the port shape. See the channel for the injectors?
Now look at the orientation as it sits in the car:
What side is the tranny on? Where is the front?

oh dope.. yeah i couldnt find it cause it was cluttered but i see it now
whoa i was just imagining what would happen if you put a k20 head on a k24 short block and now i find out someones doing it.. always someone a step ahead of you
