it looks pretty badass. i like the quality of defi products, so i wonder how well it works.

If i were to get the Techedge w/b kit later, is there any way to hook this gauge up to it???

no, since that is a narrow band guage. it may look nice, but its not going to be accurate and will not be compatible with the techedge.

so true who cares how high quality of a gauge you are using if you just use that narrowband 3 wire o2

IMO if you are going to buy a narrow band gauge buy the cheapest one you can find because all you are paying for is how bling bling it looks! It will tell you if you are extremely lean but by the time you saw the gauge you would already know that from the black smoke pouring out your exhaust!

what about welding a new bung onto the downpipe, installing a WB o2 sensor, & wiring the gauge directly to that?

wont work. The gauge must be designed to run off a wideband sensor to work.

I have that gauge. Its almost useless. Looks nice sure..but its pretty much useless as far as information wise. I had to fill a hole in my dash..so i used that since it was somewhat cheap and looked nice.
